How to Join the Council

Join the InterFaith Council as a congregation

The benefits of joining the Council are many, and some of these are noted briefly below.  But first and foremost we must emphasize the need for the Council and its work, the work of providing a safe and trusting environment in which people of diverse faiths can come to know, respect and tolerate one another.   Indeed, it was that need to build bridges of understanding that caused this remarkable organization to be launched over sixty-five years ago.

There are lesser, but still important, benefits to membership as well.  They include:

  • Full participation in regular Council programs
  • Eligibility for grants by clergy referral from The Virginia Schroeder Respite Care Fund
  • Link to your congregation via our website, www.interfaithcouncil.org
